Orchestra
The Orchestra is made up of adults, and students (9th – 12th grades), who enjoy playing their instruments! Some who play have kept up their instrument through college / adult life; others have pulled their instruments out again to re-learn and progress! Whatever the case, our orchestra leads in worship every 2nd and 4th Sundays at the 9 & 11 Worship services. They also prepare seasonal music along with the choir. They rehearse on the Wednesdays before the 2nd and 4th Sundays at 6:15 until 7:30 p.m.
Wesley Ringers
This Adult Hand Bell group is one of the long-time music groups in the church. Ringing 5 octaves of bells, extra music reading skills is encouraged! This group plays for worship services every other month, has played for community events at Christmas time, Assisted Living Homes, and has even played for a wedding and a funeral. Rehearsals are each Monday evening from 5:30 until 6:45 p.m. A good time is had by all “ding-a-lings”!!
Radical Ringers
The Radical Ringers is a bell group for 4th & 5th Graders. Sometimes grades vary due to the number of interested students. They prepare music for worship services, family night suppers, and assisted living homes. An interest in music and note reading skills is a plus. They rehearse on Monday afternoons from 5:00 until 5:45 p.m. Marian Richbourg is the Director, and has been leading this group for almost 10 years.
