Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir provides choral anthems of all genres, and adds to our hymn singing each Sunday morning.  They sing at the 11:00 Worship Service every Sunday and the 9:00 Worship service every 2nd Sunday (performing with the church orchestra).  They also present seasonal musicals throughout the year.  Music Celebration Sunday in the fall is a highlight!  Reading SATB music is encouraged, and the choir is open to adults and students 9th through 12th grades.  Rehearsals are each Wednesday evening from 7:00-8:15 p.m.  The Chancel Choir Director is Angie Carr, and the pianist is Calah McDuffie.

Children's Choirs

Our Children’s Choirs are divided into these grades when necessary – K4&5 (Angel) Choir, Grades 1-3 (Sonrise) Choir, and Grades 4-6 (Joyful Noise) Choir.  Mostly, these choirs meet separately, and have a great time learning about and performing their music.  Colored bells, Boomwhackers, Chimes, and singing are all a part of the fun music learning these groups encounter.  They present a Christmas musical in the fall, and sing for numerous events in the spring such as Worship services, Family Night Supper, and in Assisted Living Homes.  Sharing music on Children’s Sunday is a highlight!!  These choirs are led by the Music Director, Music Assistant, and Volunteers.  These choirs meet on Wednesday afternoons during the school year from 4:45 until 5:30 p.m.

Adult Ensemble

The Adult Ensemble is made up of 12 singers who already participate in Chancel Choir, and are chosen by the Director.  Extra music reading skills are a plus!  They present all kinds of music for all kinds of times and places; worship services, community groups, assisted living homes, festivals, etc.  Rehearsals are each Wednesday evening 6:15 until 7:00 p.m.  Led by the Music Director / Music Assistant.

Praise Team

The Praise Team is made up of 6 singers who already participate in Chancel Choir, and are chosen by the Director.  This group mostly sings worship songs and sings out front as worship leaders for the choir and with the Music Director.  Memorizing music is a plus and a love for worshipful songs.  They rehearse on 1st and 3rd Sunday evenings from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m.  Led by the Music Director
